I chose to become vegan last November after coming to grips with some unsettling family health history.  Diabetes and heart disease don't just run in my family- they trample and devour.  My father died at the age of 60.  After discussing the issues with my mother she said "you know, if I started making changes when I was 30, things could be a lot different for me now at 74."  (neither parent smoked, were teetotalers, were never more than 10-15lbs overweight)

I immediately changed my diet plan and my evercise regimen but I know there's more to healing my body than that and I don't know what else to do.  Would surely love some guidance!

I would love the coaching call. I come from a long line of body-hating women. I chose a vegan lifestyle last September and am learning to love my body and the fuel I feed it. My hopes are to break the cycle with my own daughters and not have them chase "thin" and "skinny" their entire lives.

I have been a vegan for about 8 years now. When I first started veganism I gained weight because I am a junk food junkie. I have cut out alot of the junk food and STILL I can't seem to lose weight. Our dinners consist of Rice, veggies and some sort of Soy product but I'm not really sure what else I can cook. I would really like some coaching on what I should eat and what nutrients I am missing.

I could really, really use this!  I became a vegan in October and am working with a therapist on some eating issues.  A coaching session could help me learn how many calories I need, how i can get them, how to put together a healthy meal, and how to get my metabolism working again!  I could use some fresh ideas on WHAT to eat too.  I have been given so much conflicting information on eating and could really use to learn how to do this vegan-thing in a good way!  I really need some professional advice!!!

I am new to the vegan lifestyle and could really use some help.  My family has a history of diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, you name it, we have it.  My father passed away from lung cancer about 2 years ago, and my mom has just been approved for bariatric surgery.  I don't want to go down the same path as they have.  I tried a vegetarian diet, years ago, and lost 80 lbs, but recently gained it all back.  During a recent health evaluation, it was concluded that I am pre-diabetic, and on the borderline of having high blood pressure, which I know brings a host of other complicatinos.  I could really use some help with getting my life back on track, following a vegan diet.

I'd love a coaching call from Lynan.  I have two young daughters and a third baby on the way (due in July!).  Becoming a mother has made me look at so many aspects of my life differently and one of those has been my eating habits; I became a a vegetarian after my first girl and long to go vegan...one day.  I work full time and am very worried that I don't do enough of my own cooking for my family; we often eat frozen meals or PB&J  to save time (although I try and buy organic and read labels).  I'd love some help on how to manage it all; buying fresh, cooking and working full time with the goal of modeling healthy choices for my family and thereby teaching my children (and hopefully someday my husband and parents too) the value of a sustainable diet.  Thanks.

I have been a vegetarian (sometimes pesca-vegetarian) for almost 10 years now. I finally cut meat out of my diet when i moved out of my mom's house. I try to be a healthy vegetarian and find it very difficult. I love carbs! Fried foods and pasta are my favorites. A coaching call would be great for educational purposes as well amotivational purposes. T

Coaching and guidance would get me started on the road towards better health and lifestyle choices!!

First I'd like to say as an lifetime member of the Girl Scouts it is Girl Scouts of the United States of America to not be confused with the Boy Scouts of America.  Lynan may want to correct that in her bio.  Beyond that, a vegan lifestyle coach could help me be more healthy.  I work toward being a healthy vegan then get lost on being busy and such... so help me be a fab, healthy vegan on the go!

I have bounced from vegan to vegetarian for the past 6 years and am newly, married, have a new blended family of 8 and am considering holistic nutrition as a carreer choice. 3 members of my new family are meat eaters and my four children and I are vegetarians. It would be awesome to chat with someone who really knows there stuff!!!! And goodness knows this gal could use the help! Thanks You! Gina

I would love a coaching call! I havebeen vegan for nearly a year, which I am trying to combine with gluten free for the sake of my husband who has an automimmune disease, and two kids with various food allergies.

A coaching call would help get my a** into shape. I have gained 35 pounds over the last year and half due to helath issues and medication. Now it's time to take it off. I'm not completely vegetarian but I'm making my way there. I incorporate lots of vegetarian/vegan practices but seriously could use someone to crack a whip.

I recently had my annual exam completed and I found out that I gained 35 pounds. What the heck is going on with me?  I really need to get my body back in shape and lose weight ASAP.  I would love to learn how to improve my diet and eat solely raw and cooked vegetables, soy, fruit, protein and dairy products.  I eat a lot of chicken, pork and beef and think this may be the reason of my weight gain.  I know going vegetarian will also reduce my carbon foot print due to pollution that comes from meat factories.  I do want to save our environment and reduce pollutants that are in our streams and rivers, endangering not only the water supply for humans but also harming animals at the same time.

I would love to have a coaching call to get me started on my vegan lifestyle.  I have gained 30 pounds in the past year due to stress and lifestyle choices and have been attempting Atkins but completelly failed and went overboard craving carbs.  I tried Weight Watchers and became frustrated figuring out points and feeling hungry all the time.  I want a healthy lifestyle and need to lose 50 pounds, lower my blood pressure and begin an exercise program.  A positive and informative coaching call would get me on the right track and help to insure success in my new lifestyle.

I officially went vegan on Jan 1, and a few days later found out I'm expecting. Would love some advice on how to maintain this diet and lifestyle while pregnant, and how to keep it going once the baby arrives and my life does a 180!
