Military Dog Adoptions

To whom it may concern,

I have a topic that I think would be a great subject for the website.  I have recently come upon a website called militaryworkingdogadoptions.com.  It is a website dedicated to helping our military dogs find homes after the military has no use for them.  These dogs are highly trained and from what I have read I understand that a lot of them are not able to make it home.  They are either euthanized or do not make it home in battle.  The ones that are able to be retired can be adopted through this website among a few others and I also believe that there is a bill working to be passed to recognize these dogs as military veterans rather than "equipment" as the main reason these dogs are not able to make it back to the US is the high cost of shipping them back home.  If the bill is passed to recognize these dogs as veterans it will greatly decrease costs of bringing them home and finding them families rather than euthanizing war heros.

Thank you for your time,

 Brittany Day
