Juicing Dos and Don'ts

I eat/drink a green smoothie every morning.  It has 2 cups of spinach, celery, carrots, flax seeds, kelp, and 2 fruits (they vary depending on what is in season).  I buy organic when I can but I'm not going to stress out about it if I can't.  I make sure my fruits/veggies are washed.  The smoothie isn't the only way I'm getting veggies/fruit in my diet so I think I'll be fine. smiley-laughing.gif

I have a green smoothie post workout that contains veggies, fruit, fat and protein. My favorite is a Beet Coconut Ginger smoothie with predominantly beets, apple, banana, kale, coconut oil or coconut flakes, coconut water, a splash of lemon and ginger and 1 scoop of protein powder. I also add what I call my garbage veggie mix which is 1/2 cup of mixed veggies I have in the fridge such as carrots, cuke, lettuce etc for a bit of added nutrition! Going home to make one now! I always wonder though, are juices better than smoothies or vice versa?

I just wonder why a professional would use the word "crap" 3 times in one tiny post?
