I actually love Pure Citizen and have purchased several items from them.

I adore Costco for the way they are committed to sustainable foods and for promoting employees from within. They are such a role model in so many ways for the way a company should be run these days. I fully support them with my business 100%!
I like blue canoe. Their clothing is stylish and conscientious.
Bead for Life is my favorite ethical company for sure. Ugandan women create colorful paper beads and string them to make necklaces, bracelets, earings, etc. I have hosted a party before and it really feels great to be a part of helping the women who make the jewelry rise above poverty and become self-reliant. Here's the link to their website if anyone wants to check it out: http://www.beadforlife.org/ The stories from the women are truely moving.
Crossroads is a great place to get cute second hand clothes and I love Seventh Generation cleaning supplies
I love the folks at HeathForce Nutritionals for being uncompromising in their dedication to pure products. Couldn't live without my daily drink of Vitamineral Green and Earth.
I like Ten Thousand Villages! Fair trade stores that coordinate with artisans in underdeveloped countries and bring their beautiful, hand-made products here for a FAIR price. They also work with the artisans to use recycled goods and make sure their practices are sustainable. :-)
I have been a HUGE supporter of Dr. Bronners for my entire adult life. Not only are their products amazing but they are leading the charge in getting TRUE organic labeling. And they don't back down! LOVE them! <3
My favourite companies are mostly local independent stores, because it's easier to determine whether they're ethical & truthful in the way they do business. I do think well of Newman's Own & Clif Bars, both of which seem to be run with a fair amount of integrity.
My favorite ethical company is Exaco. They make compost machines that are made from 100% recycled plastic so it doesn't wind up in a land fill.. This in turn reduces my carbon footprint, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and I get to recycle all my food scrap, leaves and grass clippings. Love it!!
KAYU is the apple of my eye. Their sunglasses are made from bamboo, a renewable resource. Their designs are beautiful. And they are an independent company based in San Francisco, so shipping to me in Venice wasn't extravagant in cost or carbon footprint. And lastly, twenty dollars of my purchase was put towards a sight restoration surgery through a partner organization. Gotta love community, beauty, and sustainability!
My absolute favorite ethical company is 100% Pure (http://www.100percentpure.com/).
They are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!! They are truly 100% pure! They have the most healthy, the most pure line of cosmetics, skin care and body products. Their makeup is colored from the antioxidant rich pigments of fruits and veggies. They absolutely never use synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, or any other toxins. All of their products are 100% vegan and never, EVER tested on animals!
As someone who uses their products religiously, I am a committed lifelong customer! Everything that I've ever bought from them feels fantastic, fresh, and soothing on my skin! I've used their body washes, body lotions, hand creams, eye makeup, facial toners, face scrubs, face masks, lip butters, and MUCH MORE! Their organic caffeine eye cream is the most delightful eye cream that I have every tried! And I've tried many! Their red wine resveratrop nourishing cream works absolute wonders on the skin--face, hands, neck, feet, arms, legs, ANYWHERE! And it's all super good for your skin and body! I love not only their products, but their ethical and moral message! The owner has personally rescued animals, and they offer multi-weekly contests on Facebook. They even have a line just for kids! And they have value sets every week that you can buy and save money! Everything they do is perfect in every way! Susie, the owner, personally contacted me after I made my first purchase and see saw what I do for a living (I work in human trafficking) to tell me how much she admires me. It's just great to hear from company owners, especially when it's a company that you are in love with!
I've thought before that HBD should know about them, and now was my chance to introduce you! I'd love to win the gift certificate, but helping my favorite blog find out about my favorite bath and beauty company is prize enough!!
I love Simple Shoes. They have cute, environmentally responsible shoes that are not made in sweat shops. Plus, many styles are vegan!

I have been shopping on Pure Citizen as of recent and I would have to say that all the companies they have put up there are all fantastic and inspiring. I would have to say my favourite ethical company would have to be Pure Citizen for bringing together and highlighting all these other wonderful ethical companies that I never knew about. Thanks!
