Diet and Depression

I love this article. I do really believe that food/lifestyle have an impact on depression. I used to be severly depressed to the point of where I was once on tons of meds and it still didn't work and I was just generally headed in a self-destructive direction. Now-especially since I went vegan-I have put my emphasis on eating healthy, whole foods and including an exercise regime into my routine. Now I am off meds entirely and even quit smoking this year. My life is still far from perfect but I feel like my perspective has changed. I now take pride in myself and care about myself. I've noticed how fruits & veggies seem to put me in a good mood. Anyway, before I write a book here, I totally believe in a healthy, whole foods vegan diet and regular exercise as the perfect solution to depression!
